Hello from Kanab Utah,

My name is Carolyn Grygla.  I am serving on the Jacob Hamblin Memorial committee here in Kanab, Utah, where Jacob Hamblin lived at one time for a good number of years.

It is our intention to establish a Memorial to Jacob Hamblin here, designed to bring attention to who he was and his many accomplishments, as well as serve as a point of interest for the LDS Church to the 3 or so million tourists that go through Kanab each year.

Your names were found on various genealogy sites attached to the Hamblin family.  We are trying to find ways to contact Jacob Hamblin's descendants to inform them of the Memorial project, and also to let as many descendants as possible know about the Jacob Hamblin Family Reunion scheduled here in Kanab on June 18, 19, & 20 of 2010 in conjunction with Jacob Hamblin Days.

This reunion is designed especially to help the Hamblin descendants meet and organize as a family, and to get input and support for this important project.

We are looking for ways to get family addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers for the various branches of  the Hamblin family.  If you can help with this, or guide us to someone who can, we would be very grateful.
